Thick Felt

This ebay shop http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/Swincraft has various colours and sizes of 3mm thick felt sheets, priced between £1.25 and £4.79 plus postage. 

 

Alternatively try www.bloomingfelt.co.uk for 4mm thick 10 inch square felt sheets. They are £2.25 with free delivery and are a fairtrade product!

Fred Aldous is a great emporium of craft materials and they do felt as well. I love felt flower corsages  and use a mini pompom in the centre of mine. Fred Aldous also do the findings for the back too. Sara

 

Here's a little Christmas decoration I made using wool fabric (suiting) from local fabric shop, then decorated with lurex thread stars.  It was cheaper than using the usual felt squares and they had lots of interesting colours.

If you check out Etsy, Folksy or Ebay you will find small suppliers selling wonderful felt packages which you wouldn't find in the usual places.
