Hi, I have limited space for my crafting but have discovered "Really useful" boxes which come in millions of combinations of sizes. They are availalble online and in Staples. They stack easily and I can see what is in them. sadly I dream of a nice craft bolthole where I can arrange my treasures ready for instant craft bursts!

Oh dear Sara, I have recently spent a fortune in Staples on these boxes but at least my 'studio' is now tidy, and I have racked up a load of points on my Staples card.

Hi,
I also have bought the Really Useful Boxes from Staples to store all my bits, ribbons, bobbins etc., for my sewing and craftwork.  I have such a small working area in the corner of my dining room that I have to have everything in its place

I like to go to Ikea for storage items; decorative cardboard boxes, magazine storage, wicker baskets.  Always cheap and stylish!

I do agree with you Ros but unfortunately I go into panic mode in Ikea - can't cope with their one-way system!

Hi Maggi,
I hated Ikea the first time I went!  Once you get used to where everything is and allow plenty of time it can be fun!  I think they now offer a delivery service which might be worth checking out.

My craft materials are also in a selection of Really Useful Boxes! I also have a bank of plastic trolleys fixed above an old kitchen cupboard, and we won't even begin to think about all my sewing things.....

For transporting/storage of some items I use blue plastic  mesh mushroom boxes, next time you are at the market ask for one or two at the veggie stall.

They are stackable so great for taking to craft fairs, they are free and usually just end up in landfill

I had no idea they were free! I keep my things in tupperware tubs, in old tins, trays, etc on shelves- a bit boring aren't I?!
