Always research the fair and venue thoroughly and check what you need such as lights, tablecovers. On occasion I have arrived to be told they've given me a double space and I've only brought enough cloth for one, so spares are always good if you have the facility to transport them! Make your stand look really beautiful with good props! Even simple boxes under the table cloth to raise the display in areas makes it more interesting to look at than items laid out flat on a table. Invest in nice bags with your contact details attached. You can even print your own with a little computer know-how using the bags available from www.craftycomputerpaper.com or get them professionally printed if you're really going for it! There are companies such as www.pottersuk.com who will also print jewellery boxes too. What tips can you share with us? |

Even if it's cold and quite and you've been awake since 6am, look like you're enjoying yourself! And talk to people who are looking at your stall. A nice "hello" will probably make them stick around longer. |
